Our History: Four Generations of the Miller Family
Miller Ford was founded in 1939 by Melvin Miller on Mill Street in Burlington. As the business grew, so did its footprint. We moved to Bridge Street in 1945, then to a larger location near Echo Lake in 1959, where Melvin's son Neal soon joined him in the business.
By 1981, Neal had purchased the dealership from his father and acquired the local Ford-Mercury franchise, moving the entire operation to its current home at 1196 Milwaukee Ave. In 1987, Neal's son Chris became the third generation to run the dealership, and he serves as President of the company today. With the fourth generation of the Miller family now part of the business, we uphold a continuity of ownership that is something few dealerships anywhere can claim.

The dealership has expanded many times at its Milwaukee Avenue location, including a new Body Shop, Quick Lube and Detail Center added in 2005 -- now recognized as one of the most advanced collision centers in the area.
